THE Liberal Vannin Party will hold its annual Summer Seminar this weekend.
This Sunday marks the last opportunity for members to discuss and vote on motions before the general election in September.
Roy Redmayne, the party chairman, said: "Members have submitted 16 different motions so it is quite a full agenda.
"I am delighted that our members are taking such a proactive approach and it shows that there is a real desire for people to really influence the policies adopted by government. It reinforces that there is a need to bring politics back to the people."
The Summer Seminar will take place at The Douglas Old Friends Association on Finch Road in Douglas on Sunday. Coffee will be served from 10am and the seminar will begin at 10.30am.
Members of the public are welcome to attend but it is only Liberal Vannin members who will be able to vote on the motions.
Liberal Vannin candidate for Middle Juan Cottier is also hosting a coffee morning at Crosby Memorial Hall on Saturday from 11am to 1pm.
