by isleofman.com 23rd June 2011

ZAC Hall is the latest candidate to declare for the Liberal Vannin Party and will stand for election in Onchan in the forthcoming House of Keys election on 29 September.

Zac is a qualified airline pilot and is currently working as Senior First Officer with Eastern Airways.  He is currently working his notice, in order to devote his time to the election.

When told of his successful selection as a candidate he said, “I am profoundly honoured to have been selected by the Liberal Vannin Party to stand as a candidate for the constituency of Onchan in the forthcoming General Election in September.

“Working tirelessly alongside Peter Karran and the Liberal Vannin team, I will never give up on the people I stand for, on the changes I will push for, and on the future I want for all our children. I am sincerely grateful for this unique chance.

“The most precious and powerful right in the world is the right to vote. My invitation to all the people of Onchan is this: Join me and the Liberal Vannin Party in our efforts to shape a new kind of politics and future for the Isle of Man”.

LVP leader, Peter Karran MHK added, “I am delighted that Zac is standing with me in Onchan.  There are not enough of our young people entering the world of politics.  He is 33, and will add a younger perspective to our outlook and communications.

“He has already shown great commitment and integrity and I hope that the people of Onchan will agree with me that Zac is a worthy choice and will represent them, and the whole of the Island, very ably and with the best interests of the people at the heart of all his decisions.”
