by isleofman.com 22nd June 2011

People in the Isle of Man are engaged in the local political scene, according to Liberal Vannin candidate Juan Cottier who is standing in Middle in September's general election.

The 45-year-old former IT consultant was also in the RAF for several years before moving back to the Island where he was born and educated.

He is currently full time carer.

Mr Cottier says a lot of people want to know what their politicians are going to be doing for them and there are two main issues which concern them (listen to audio file below):

So far three people have indicated they will be contesting the single seat in Middle, the others being Howard Quayle and sitting member Martyn Quayle.
