Minister warns of tough times ahead

The next two years will be the toughest in a generation, according to the minister for economic development.

Allan Bell made a statement in Tynwald today (Tuesday) about progress on the review of the planning system in relation to high value individuals.

Answering a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran, Mr Bell told the court all options must be looked at to secure the Island's future (listen to audio file below):

Mr Bell told Tynwald the Department of Infrastructure would conduct a consultation on the planning proposals and report back.
