Manannan Festival underway

Award-winning Isle of Man band King Chiaullee opened the 2011 Manannan Festival in Port Erin last night (Monday).

A variety of Manx and traditional music will feature at the Erin Arts Centre over the next fortnight.

The line-up also includes an audience with Inspector Morse author Colin Dexter, English act Horses Brawl and a recital by the Barbirolli String Quartet.
