The chief minister has raised concerns over a possible further re-negotiation of the VAT sharing arrangment with the United Kingdom, with Prime Minister David Cameron.
Tony Brown met the PM and his deputy Nick Clegg at a meeting of the British Irish Council in London yesterday (Monday).
The potential for Council member states to benefit from a series of wind farms, off the west coast of Ireland, was the main focus of the meeting.
But Mr Brown says the visit was also a good opportunity to keep in touch with UK politicians and Treasury officials over a matter of pressing concern.
