An Onchan Commissioner has directed strong criticism at his colleagues ahead of a move to reduce the number of board members.
Brian Stowell says reducing the number of commissioners from seven to five will lead to greater efficiencies and also claims the district doesn’t need as many local authority representatives as it has three MHKs.
He campaigned successfully a few years ago for the board to be reduced from 10 members to seven.
But Mr Stowell isn’t confident he’ll get support at tonight’s (Monday) vote.
