Spacecraft on public display at Jurby

There's a chance for budding astronauts to check out space's answer to hotels today (Saturday).

Excalibur Almaz is showing off its spacecraft at its Jurby base.

Visitors will see two Russian space stations and a ship which the local company plans to use to take tourists into orbit.

The display is open from 10am to 5pm, at Unit 267 on the Jurby Industrial Estate.

Executive vice-president of Excalibur Almaz Buckner Hightower says the company wants to get the public behind the Island's space industry:
