Ben out of service for repairs

by isleofman.com 18th June 2011

The Ben my Chree is going into dry dock on Merseyside today (Saturday) for repairs to a bow thruster.

The Steam Packet flagship, damaged shortly before TT fortnight, is heading for Birkenhead's 12 Quays.

It means today's the 2.15 service from Heysham and tomorrow's services have been cancelled.

The vessel will be back in service on Monday, although more work will be needed to reinstall the thruster when it has been fixed.
