A RECENT open day at the Isle of Man Creamery has raised over £2,500 for The Children's Centre.

The open day, held on Sunday, May 22, gave visitors the chance to tour the creamery, watch cooking demonstrations and enjoy local produce, music and entertainment.

Jackie Mitchell, marketing executive at Isle of Man Creamery said: "The open day was a fantastic family day out and we are delighted to have raised £2,503.50 for The Children's Centre.

"We are very grateful to everyone who supported us and to all the volunteers who worked so hard and made it a fun day."

Michelle O'Malley, fundraising manager at The Children's Centre, said: "We had a really great time at the open day and all our staff and volunteers really enjoyed the event.

"I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and supported us and to the creamery team for choosing us. We're so incredibly grateful."

The cheque presentation was made earlier this week.
