Information guides published on the election

by isleofman.com 19th June 2011

INFORMATION guides have been produced to assist voters and candidates ahead of this year's House of Keys election.

The Guidance for Voters document provides advice on registering to vote and how to cast your vote at a polling station, applying for an absent vote or applying for the appointment of a proxy to vote on your behalf.

The Guidance for Candidates document offers advice for anyone who wishes to stand in a House of Keys election. It covers the main steps involved in the process from nomination to the declaration of a result.

Both guides, along with details of the designated returning officers in each constituency and previous election results, can be found by visiting www.gov.im/cso/election.

The election will take place on September 29.
