It's nominations day for Olympic Torch relay!

There's a chance today (Friday) to nominate a worthy local resident for the honour of a lifetime.

A replica of the 2012 Olympic Torch is on the Isle of Man on a tour of the British Isles.

It will be on display in Regent Street in Douglas, between 10am and 5pm.

The llifesize replica is the focal point of a large trailer display depicting the history of the torch relay, and local residents can hop aboard a London taxi to record a video nomination for the person they think should bear the real torch on its way to the London Games next year.
