Police say expect delays ahead of Elton John gig

by isleofman.com 16th June 2011

POLICE have warned members of the public to be prepared for delays ahead of tonight's Elton John concert.

The singer will be playing in Noble's Park in Douglas at 7.30pm.

Police have asked motorists who are not going to the concert to avoid the area and use alternative routes away from Glencrutchery Road.

Concert goers are asked to car share or use public transport and to try and get there in plenty of time.

Police officers will be on point duty around the area to try and alleviate congestion.
