A new restaurant, a working water wheel and an ice cream factory were officially opened at Silverdale Glen near Ballasalla today (Wednesday).
The facility at the popular southern beauty spot has been given a major overhaul by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
Silverdale is now home to Jimbo's Manx Ice Creams which has moved from the Snugborough Trading Estate, and tours are being organised so visitors can see the ice cream making process first-hand.
