LVP man says government could move north

A general election candidate from the far north believes the Isle of Man is too 'Douglas-centric'.

Liberal Vannin candidate Pat Ayres is challenging Eddie Teare, who has served the constituency of Ayre since winning his seat in a bye-election in 2004.

Mr Ayres, 56, and a semi-retired transport manager, believes the Island needs a change in its politics.

On Mandate this morning (Wednesday) he suggested the government's administration could move north:
