Richmond Hill development to come in under budget

by isleofman.com 14th June 2011

THE Richmond Hill development is expected to cost around £277,621 less than originally expected.

The account is still being finalised but Treasury Minister Anne Craine MHK said the overall outturn is expected to be £2,857,659.

Funding of £3,135,280 had been originally approved by Tynwald in January last year.

The figures were revealed in this morning's House of Keys sitting when Onchan MHK Peter Karran asked the Treasury Minister for a detailed breakdown of the total costs of the development work.

The figures also showed that £1,253,984.90 has been spent on road pavements and footpaths, £86,330.22 on landscaping and £94,285.50 on structural work.
