THE Steam Packet carried 33,712 passengers and 10,866 bikes during the TT.
The number of bikes was up by 5.5 per cent on last year and the number of passengers was up 6.7 per cent.
This year was a special occasion as the motorcycle racing event celebrated 100 years of the Mountain Course.
Steam Packet chief executive Mark Woodward said: "I am delighted that this year we have seen a further increase in visitor numbers to the TT, which is clearly maintaining its position at the forefront of the road racing calendar.
"With Manannan, the Ben-my-Chree and P&O Express operating this year's TT schedule, we have had capacity to transport more than 4,000 passengers a day.
"TT is clearly an extremely busy time for us and I would like to thank all Steam Packet Company staff who have worked around the clock to ensure that we have been able to transport the large numbers of visitors the world-leading event attracts to the Island."
