ELTON John fans will be counting down the hours and minutes to the singer songwriter's gig in the Island on Thursday.

And the massive marquee where he will perform the show is currently being put up in Noble's Park in Douglas.

It was originally due to be held in a marquee which was going to be erected for the Isle of Man Bay Festival, however the  festival was cancelled so the marquee being constructed is for the Elton John show only.
