THE main Douglas to Castletown Road at Santon is to close tomorrow (Tuesday) while police further investigate a fatal collision.
It will be shut between Ballavale Road and the Blackboards from 10am to 2pm. Heavy goods vehicles will be diverted along the Ballasalla to St Mark's Road.
A motorcyclist was killed as a result of the collision which took place near to the Fairy Bridge on Monday, June 6.
Police said they wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused for the closure and said they will open the road as soon as the investigation is complete.
