Man in court after Brighton Terrace drugs seizure

A court has heard how police discovered ?35,000 worth of drugs at a Douglas man's home on Wednesday last week.

Twenty-eight-year-old Peter Phillip Nulty, of Brighton Terrace, is accused of possessing cocaine and ecstasy with intent to supply, and possessing the drugs.

A request by the prosecution for Mr Nulty to be remanded in custody was granted by the high bailiff.

The defence said there would be no application for bail, and he will make another appearance in court tomorrow (Tuesday).
