Defendents in GBH case remain in custody

Two 24-year-olds from the Isle of Man have been remanded in custody, charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.

Gavin William Paterson of Ballanowin, the Strang, and Jeffrey Ronald Barber of Willaston are accused of carrying out an attack in Douglas.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in a lane between Howard Street and Regent Street on June 2.

Deputy high bailiff Alastair Montgomerie was told police inquiries were ongoing and both men were custody until June 9.
