Noble's volunteers off to the Palace

by isleofman.com 10th June 2011

Volunteers at Noble’s Hospital are gearing up for a trip to Buckingham Palace.

That’s after the group was recognised for the support it provides to members of the public by winning a Queen's award.

The volunteers will receive a certificate signed by The Queen, as well as an invite to a Royal Garden party this summer.

The group's leader, Alison Lester, says it’s a great honour for a wide range of work.
