Anybody who would like to find out more about some of the less spectacular forms of wildlife to be found in the Isle of Man can head for St John's this weekend.
The Manx Wildlife Trust is holding a special day entitled 'Beauty and the Beastie' at its wildflower nursery at Mullen-e-Cloie in St Johns.
Spokesman Andre Dubbledam says it's a great chance to find out more about the plants and creatures people can find in their gardens (listen to audio file below):
'Beauty and the Beastie' is on Sunday (June 12), from 12pm to around 4pm, and admission is free.
