TT rider died from multiple injuries

A former TT racer died from heart injuries following a motorbike crash in Sulby last week, an inquest heard.

Tony Cook, 75, was killed when his Norton bike and sidecar crashed into a parked car in Claddaghs Road last Thursday evening (June 2).

Meanwhile, an inquest into the death of TT competitor Bill Currie was told he died of multiple injuries when his sidecar outfit crashed during a practice session.

Mr Currie's passenger Kevin Morgan also lost his life during in the tragedy at Ballacrye during last Tuesday’s practice session (May 31). His inquest will be opened later.

Coroner Alistair Montgomerie adjourned both hearings for further investigation.
