All eyes on the weather for today's Isle of Man TT revised timetable

by isleofman.com 9th June 2011

THE revised Isle of Man TT schedule for today (Thursday) has been announced by the TT Press Office following yesterday’s abandoned races, halted after Keith Amor crashed on wet roads in Union Mills.

TV coverage of his second lap accident, screened last night on ITV4, showed just fortunate he was to walk away from the scene and also how close John McGuinness, Guy Martin and Cameron Donald were to being involved.

TT organisers will close the Mountain Road this morning at 11am and the rest of the TT course at 11.30am. The re-started Supersport Race 2 is scheduled for a 12.15pm start.

But it’s all subject - as always - to the Manx weather.  At 8.30am it looked like the weather for the day would be good, but we’ve all been here before and got the T shirts and the medals!

Fingers crossed for a safe day’s race without any further delays.

The revised schedule is as follows:-

12.15 Monster Energy Supersport 2 (4 laps)

14.15 Sure Sidecar TT Race 2 (3 laps)

15.50 Senior practice

16.30 Subaru demonstration lap

17.15 SES TT Zero
