Village hosting bike show today

All roads will lead to Laxey this afternoon (Thursday) for the Big Laxey Bike Show.

Despite a clash with the Wednesday's rescheduled race programme, thousands are expected to flock to the village see the fifth annual event.

Andy Scullard, one of the organisers, says hundreds of machines will be on display, with more than 20 classes to enter (listen to audio file below):

The free to enter event runs from midday until around 6pm.
