A 42 year-old Douglas man took his own life after suffering years of depression and alcohol problems, an inquest has heard.
Stephen Raby’s body was found in a cupboard under the stairs of his home in Pulrose last summer.
A post mortem examination showed he’d died from suffocating after inhaling carbon monoxide fumes.
The hearing at Douglas Courthouse today (Wednesday) heard he’d left a goodbye message on Facebook, quoting lyrics from a Pink Floyd song.
