It's the busiest day of racing at TT 2011, with riders on three categories of machine set to test themselves against the mighty countain Circuit.

First it's the turn of the 600s in the Supersport 2 race, followed by the second sidecar race at lunchtime, then the electric bikes in TT Zero later this afternoon (Wednesday).

Michael Dunlop will be hoping to build on his Superstock success, but brother William won't be supporting him, if his comments on Charlie Williams' chat show on Manx Radio TT are anything to go by (listen to audio clip below):

The mountain section of the course is due to close at 9.30am and the rest of the circuit half an hour later.

The racing schedule in the official TT programme is wrong, and the correct version is as follows: 10.45am, Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 (4 laps); 12.45am, Sure Sidecar TT Race 2 (3 laps); 3pm, SES TT Zero Race (1 lap); 4pm, Subaru demonstration lap; 4.45pm, Arai parade lap.

The opening time for the roads isn't known at this stage, because of the possibility of delays due to the weather and unforeseen incidents.

However, they must be back in public use no later than 9.30pm.

The weather forecast issued at 5.45am today says 'variable amounts of broken cloud giving bright or sunny intervals, but there will also be a few scattered showers drifting over the Island at times, possibly quite heavy in places'.
