Manx Telecom invite customers to cinema for free

by isleofman.com 7th June 2011

MANX Telecom invited around 300 customers to the cinema last week - free of charge.

Customers were treated to a free screening of the new Pirates of the Caribbean 4 film which stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.

The event was the first in a new loyalty initiative launched by the company called Manx Telecom Tuesdays.

On the last Tuesday of each month Manx Telecom will invite customers to fill Screen One in the Palace Cinema (319 seats) for free.

Customers who register for the initiative will be sent a promotional booking code enabling them to register for tickets to the screening. Codes will be sent out approximately 10 days before the screening and ticket availability is on a first come first served basis.

Manx Telecom has said it is trying to make the selection process fair. A spokesperson for the company said: "All promotional codes are sent out at random to everyone who has registered to ensure the process is as fair as possible.

"The order in which they are sent was not based on the order of registration and will rotate on a monthly basis, again to make things fair.

"Manx Telecom were delighted by the overwhelmingly positive response from their customers and are already working on making sure the next Manx Telecom Tuesdays offer is even bigger and better."

If you are a Manx Telecom customer and you haven't yet registered for Manx Telecom Tuesdays visit www.manxtelecom.com/cinema.
