THE main Douglas to Castletown road in Santon will be closed from 12pm today for police to carry out further enquiries following the death of a biker.
Last night a rider was killed near to the Fairy Bridge at around 7.55pm after their red Yamaha motorcycle collided with a black Alfa Romeo.
The road will be closed between Ballavale Road and the Blackboards until 2pm.
HGVs will be diverted along the Ballasalla to St Marks Road.
Police have apologised for any inconvenience caused to the public while they carry out enquiries.
