'Two-wheels good' to keep traffic moving

Police are working hard to keep traffic flowing during rush-hour (6pm) on one of the busiest days of the year.

The delayed start to racing has put even more pressure on the roads in and around Douglas, particularly the promenade and routes into the capital from the south.

Police inspector Terry Stephen has a team of officers on two-wheels, who have been moving to problem areas to direct the traffic, and try and keep it moving.

He gave Elizabeth Cubbon this update on Manx Radio's drivetime programme this evening:
