by isleofman.com 6th June 2011

POLICE are appealing for more information following two burglaries from unoccupied properties in Port Erin.

They now want to speak to anyone who saw a group of four youths in the Surby Road, Fairy Hill and Ballafesson areas on the evening of Tuesday, May 31.

The youths – two males and two females - are described as being between 14 and 16 years old.

One male had short blonde hair with a gelled fringe and was wearing a black and red tracksuit top.

The second male is described as white with short brown hair and a fringe. He was wearing a black top.

One female is described as approximately 165cms tall and of thin build. She had shoulder length light brown hair and was wearing distinctive full length leggings that had black and grey flowers on them with some white colouring in the background. She was possibly wearing a pink top.

The second female had blonde hair and was wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.

PC Tim Jones, who is leading the investigation, said: "I believe one or all of these youths are local to the area where the burglaries have occurred and I would urge anyone with any information as to the identities of these youths to come forward and phone the police."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jones at Port Erin Police Station on 01624 832222.
