Police appeal for help over 32nd Milestone collision

POLICE are appealing for people involved in flagging down motorists after a serious road traffic collision on Friday to come forward.

 

The rider of a Suzuki motorcycle sustained serious injuries after colliding with the rear of a marked police range rover vehicle at around 9.45am near to the 32nd Milestone on the Mountain Road. 

 

Police are now trying to trace a number of people who were present at the milestone and were involved with flagging down motorists before they reached the collision scene.

 

One of these people was thought to be waving a white piece of clothing in order to attract the attention of other motorists.
