by isleofman.com 5th June 2011

RAMSEY schoolgirl Rebecca Flint - aka YouTube sensation Beckii Cruel - was on hand to support Japanese rider Yoshinari Matsushita at the TT Superbike race yesterday (Saturday).

Beckii - who has a huge following in Japan - helped with a little fundraising for the Japanese Earthquake appeal and made sure Yoshinari had a safe send off by supporting him up on the grid.

Beckii said yesterday: "I am a major fan of the TT and have been out taking pictures during practice. To be up there and in amongst it this morning at the Grandstand was just brilliant!

"If you've never been, you just have to come and see this amazing event! it was great to be back amongst friends from Japan and I was pleased we could do a little bit of fundraising too.

"Can you imagine how much we would raise if every visitor put a pound in?"

To top the day off, Beckii grabbed a photograph with actor and adventurer Charley Boorman.
