Motorcyclist dies following Mountain Road crash

A MOTORCYCLIST was killed following a crash on the Mountain Road this morning (Saturday).

 

It happened at 8.10am on the exit of Brandywell corner.

 

The incident involved one motorcycle and the rider of that machine - a man from England - sustained fatal injuries.

 

The Mountain Road was closed as a result of the incident.

 

Anyone with information should call the police on 01624 631212.

 

The Mountain Road is now closed for racing, with the first race, the six-lap Superbike TT, starting at noon.
