Police make safety appeal to bikers

As the end of TT practice week draws near, police are reminding motorcyclists to take extra care on the roads.

There have been numerous minor incidents around the Island, and one or two more serious ones.

Inspector Mark Britton from the Roads Policing Unit says locals as well as visitors are being tempted to ride too fast.

He says people seem to take extra risks when the weather is good:
