New role for former AG

by isleofman.com 1st June 2011

The Isle of Man's recently retired attorney general will start working as a consultant for a firm of local advocates later this month.

John Corlett stepped down as AG at the end of March, having held the position for 13 years.

Now he is joining Callin Wild, an establishment Mr Corlett describes as 'a traditional advocacy practice'.

Callin Wild undertakes a wide range of private client, commercial advisory and transactional work, both locally and further afield.

Senior partner Jeremy Callin says he's delighted Mr Corlett is joining, after a very successful time representing the Isle of Man on the international stage.

Prior to taking up the position of attorney general, Mr Corlett had been the senior partner at Corlett Bolton Advocates, and before that he was at Dickinson Cruickshank.
