Log those cetacean sightings!

by isleofman.com 1st June 2011

As thousands of motorcycle fans arrive on the Isle of Man for the TT some other visitors are also beginning to appear.

We're entering the peak season for seeing cetaceans, such as whales, dolphins and porpoises, in Manx waters.

Many different types can be observed from the Island during the summer months, if the weather conditions are right.

Tom Felce from Manx Whale and Dolphin Watch is hoping for a good summer, and says it's been encouraging so far:

You can hear more from Tom Felce on Mannin the Wild this evening on FM at 6.30pm.

Sightings of whales and dolphins can be logged online at mwdw.net
