MOTORISTS and members of the public have been asked to pay attention to the Island's railways and horse trams during the TT period.
The Roads Policing Unit and the public transport division of the Department of Infrastructure have put out a plea to road users.
Richard Little, marketing and new business manager for the division, said: "The electric trams and steam trains are in operation during TT and all road users should take extra care at level crossings - particularly at the bungalow on the Mountain Road.
"We have had instances where people are failing to stop or passing through very quickly. Please pay attention to our workers."
Inspector Mark Britton said: "This reinforces that people need to take care on the roads at this busy time of year.
"Take care and pay attention. Stop - rather than put anyone, including yourself, in danger.
"I would also like to include the Horse trams in Douglas as a part of this timely reminder."
