Commuter trains working well

The Leisure Division says the TT 2011 commuter train service has got off to a good start.

The service was introduced to try and cut down congestion during the busy period and will be operating on all the working days for the next fortnight.

Passengers from the south of the Island can get into Douglas from the south for 8.45am, with the return journey leaving Douglas at 5.45pm.

Marketing and new business manager for Isle of Man Bus and Rail Richard Little says the trains provide a useful facility for people coming into the capital:
