by isleofman.com 31st May 2011

Tonight's second practice session of TT2011 was cut short by what race organisers described as a 'serious incident' involving a sidecar outfit.

The crash involved the number 15 machine ridden by Bill Currie and his passenger Kevin Morgan.

It happened at Ballacrye, just past Ballaugh on the first lap of the sidecar session.

Meanwhile in the solos the Morecambe Missile threw down the gauntlet.

John McGuinness clocked a lap of just over 129mph on his Superbike on his second circuit of the Mountain Course.

In the other solo classes last night Michael Dunlop was quickest on the Superstocks and the Supersports.
