One-way system 'continually enforced'

by isleofman.com 31st May 2011

Police are reminding motorists the Mountain Road is always one-way during TT fortnight.

From Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa vehicles must travel in the direction of the course, 24 hours a day.

Head of road policing Mark Britton says there is continual enforcement of the one-way system, and the dangers of going against the flow are obvious.

Emergency services dealt with a couple of minor incidents on the Mountain Road today (Tuesday) including one accident which required a road closure for a short time.
