Island offered advice by RBS economist

A key economist from the United Kingdom has been meeting movers and shakers from politics and the finance sector.

Stephen Blackman from the RBS Group had dinner with government ministers Allan Bell and Anne Craine, as well as political member of the Treasury Alex Downie, senior civil servant Tim Craine from the Department of Economic Development and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce.

Among other things they discussed the economic climate and how the Isle of Man could benefit from, or at the very least, absorb the worst effects.
