Canon rescued by 'Good Samaritans'

A vicar is paying tribute to shoppers in Ramsey, after a gust of wind almost spelled disaster for a charity appeal.

Canon David Greenwood of St Paul's Church says 'Good Samaritans' saved the day when banknotes from a charity collection were scattered across the town centre.

Canon Greenwood was on his way to the bank to pay in hundreds of pounds collected during Christian Aid Week earlier this month, when the money was blown from his pocket.

He says passers-by were quick to help:
