Road racing events and photos down south

by isleofman.com 28th May 2011

There's road racing action in the south of the Island today (Saturday).

Qualifying for the Blackfords Pre-TT Classic continues at 1.15pm, with the opening race of the meeting, the 250cc and 350cc singles event due to start at 4pm.

The main day of competition is bank holiday Monday.

Also in the south, an exhibition of 50 TT images from the Getty Images archive continues in Castletown.

First shown in London, it features more than 100 years of racing, and there are also 30 photos covering the Southern 100's 56-year history.

The exhibition, at the town's Civic Centre, is open from 9.30am until midday.
