by isleofman.com 26th May 2011

NEARLY £1,000 was raised for Hospice when Manx2.com hosted a fashion show in their hangar at Ronaldsway airport.

The event comprised of a fashion show with the ticket price including drinks and strawberries. All items were donated through Hospice shops, Share the Care with the opportunity of purchasing the items at the end of the event.

Guests also had the opportunity to have their nails manicured, beauty treatments or have a make-over or massage. These were supplied by Cosmetic Medical Centre.

As part of the afternoon guests were entered into a draw for two Gold Manx2 tickets which were won by Maureen Knight who chose to visit Blackpool for the weekend.

Hospice PR and marketing manager Mary Doyle thanked Manx2, Cosmetic Medical Centre and the Hospice shops for all the hard work in bringing this event to fruition.

“All the ladies had a wonderful afternoon of frivolity, enjoying the drinks and strawberries and raising funds for our charity”.
