Alleged dealer from Wirral remanded in custody

A 38-year-old woman has appeared before magistrates charged with importing ?21,000 worth of cocaine into the Isle of Man.

Rebecca Leanne Jones, from the Wirral, is also accused of possessing the drug with intent to supply, not paying her hotel bill and stealing a hotel key.

The court heard the drugs were allegedly brought to the Island by ferry last weekend.

Her advocate made no application for bail and Ms Jones will appear in court again on May 31.
