Sanctions update after death of terror boss

by isleofman.com 24th May 2011

Isle of Man Customs and Excise has updated its sanction regime against Al Qaida and the Taliban, following the death of Osama bin Laden.

After the Islamist terror boss was killed in Pakistan by US special forces, the Treasury has updated the information it holds on file about him.

Also included in the latest sanctions update are three organisations and one individual with suspected terror links.

If you have any accounts or assets belonging to anybody on the watchlist, you should freeze them and inform customs immediately.
