Isle of Man Airport remains open for business this morning (Tuesday), despite the uncertainty surrounding flights because of the latest volcanic ash cloud from Iceland.
On Mandate, airport director Ann Reynolds explained that this time the Island's air space would not be closed, and it would be up to individual airlines to decide whether to cancel services.
She said the high density part of the cloud was currently over Scotland, with only low density volcanic material over the Island.
Ms Reynolds advised all air travellers to keep an eye on their airlines' websites, rather than the one run by the airport, for news on any flights being affected.
A number of major airlines, including British Airways, KLM, Easyjet, Aer Lingus and Flybe, have cancelled flights to Scotland from different parts of the United Kingdom.
This morning's Flybe flight from the Isle of Man to Glasgow was cancelled last night, because of the ash cloud.
The ash cloud is heading south and it's reported it could cover much of England later.
An update is due at 1pm.
