Don't abuse drivers, warns union chief

A union chief’s repeated his stance Island bus drivers will only take industrial action as a last resort.

However, Steve Salter – the regional industrial officer for Unite – says discussions with transport management about staff conditions and new timetables are ongoing.

He’s also advising members of the public unhappy with the new timetable not to vent their frustration at the drivers.
